I want to experience music on the dance floor like I do films. It needs dramaturgy and I love surprises. What drives me as a DJ, is the magical moment that happens when you're in the 'in-between-land'. When two songs perfectly merge together harmonically and rhythmically. I spend a lot of time not only composing 1-4 hour sets, but finding those transitions that makes us emotionally and spiritually touched.

A couple of years ago I reached a point where my energy was drained because of the film industry. I watched films, I wrote films, I worked on films, I talked about films. There was no balance. I have played drums since I was a child and realized I was not playing any music anymore. I was already listening to deep house and melodic house music to escape a busy reality.

Then someone told me I should start DJ-ing myself. I laughed, said no and moved on. Some time later someone said it again. I decided to try it out in case I was missing out on something. I was absorbed by how captivating it was. I could play for hours by myself, for friends and at smaller house parties. My friends supported me and pushed me to start playing on the dance floor. So, I have decided to stay lost in the moment.
