Standal

Standal is a small village with less than 20 people living there. Tucked between sharp mountains deep in the Hjørundfjord on Norway’s west coast. It’s my grandmother’s home and the most peaceful place I know. In the summer of 2021, I returned to create a time capsule of her visiting her childhood home. The result became a short experimental documentary.
